Rubber trees in a mixed plantation in North Sumatra. This type of harvesting allows for other tree species to live alongside the rubber trees, a habitat in which Sumatran orangutans can live. It is being chopped down, however, to make space for palm oil plantations which are deemed to make more money for less work, so the orangutans are now being darted and relocated.
