A mother and baby (approx 1 year old) Sumatran orangutan in the forest near Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra.

The Sumatran orangutan (Pongo abelii) is Critically Endangered (IUCN) and only found in pockets of the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
