Puffin, Fratercula arctica, Farne Islands.

I took this on a trip to the Farne Islands last summer - it had always been a wildlife destination that I wanted to visit, and this had been my first opportunity to actually see it for myself.

Puffins have always fascinated me for their comical ways, and I wanted to capture images to accentuate their colour and character. I spent a few hours capturing incoming birds, this one particularly appealed to me for the bright feet!
