My ultimate goal with my photography is to inspire people to see wildlife and the natural environment as a part of our heritage, and to restore our connection with a world that we have forgotten about. Having worked within conservation for many years, I understand the challenges that conservation organisations have in acquiring and affording the sort of images that have become so essential in today's media-driven society. To this end, I have spent the past few years working closely with several groups to generate image libraries of not only the wildlife that is the primary focus of their work, but also the staff, volunteers and communities that are so key to the success of their efforts. Several years' experience as a freelance photojournalist, combined with my love of animals, allows me to capture every aspect of the work required for lasting conservation work.
